Three houses on wine-producing domaine
All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms.Two adjoining houses with views over the vines and over the central courtyard of this wine-producing domaine. Originally providing accommodation for the estate manager ('régisseur') and the person who cared for the horses ('ramonet'), these houses have been modernised and converted by Jacques and Monique de Bary, using an attractive mixture of antique furniture and new, en suite bathrooms in all bedrooms, and fully fitted kitchens.One of the houses has been carefully adapted for wheelchair users, with a entrance ramp, a ground floor bedroom and a specially designed shower room and WC. For the 2003 season, the owners have added 'Sellerie', which is almost identical in layout to 'Alicante'.

Jacques comes from a family with artistic talents (he claims to be the odd man out) and the walls in both houses are decorated with original paintings and family portraits.


Facilities include one large outdoor pool (12m x 7m) in lovely country surroundings with plenty of sun-beds. Each house has a private outside area with garden furniture, lighting and barbecues for those Mediterranean evenings. The central courtyard is approximately 2500m2. Outside the courtyard, the pool area measures about 170m2 and there are also about 350m2 of lawns.

The Domaine du Cayrat is on the edge of Cazouls d'Hérault, a village close to the historic town of Pézenas, very proud of its association with Moliere. The Mediterranean beaches are about half an hour's drive away, and in the other direction are the mountains, with opportunities for walking, kayaking, river bathing etc.

Alicante





Alicante has been carefully renovated to provide about 120m2 of comfortable accommodation for 6 with one double bedroom (king sized bed, 200cm x 160cm) with en suite bathroom, and two twin bedded rooms, with en suite shower rooms. The spacious living area has a fireplace and electric heating for winter lets. There is a fitted kitchen with all modern appliances including washing machine and dishwasher.



Ramonet





Ramonet can accommodate 6 in comfort in approximately 110m2 of living space and has been adapted for wheelchair use. There is a ramp at the entrance to the house and on the ground floor there is a bedroom accessible by wheelchair with specially designed en suite shower room and WC. On the first floor there is one double bedroom and one twin bedded room, both with en suite shower rooms. There is an attractive tiled living/dining area, with views over the owners' vineyards.

Both houses have fully equipped kitchens with fridge freezers, washing machines, dish washers, electric ovens and 4 ring electric hobs. Television and music centres are also provided.
